Understanding VA Community Care

Community Care allows veterans to receive care outside VA facilities when the VA cannot provide the care needed. It requires a referral/authorization.

Must be approved before scheduling
Requested through VA provider or care team
Used for services like massage therapy

Does My Disability Rating Qualify Me?

VA authorization for massage therapy is based on clinical need rather than a specific disability percentage. If you have a service-connected condition or require pain management, you may be eligible.
